Link Light Rail

The light rail is a great way to get around Seattle! You can take the light rail from the airport, and it has stops throughout the city.

Seattle Art Museum

1300 1st Ave, Seattle, WA 98101, USA
(206) 654-3100

The SAM is within walking distance from Pike Place market, and easily accessible from the light rail

Pike Place Market

85 Pike St, Seattle, WA 98101, USA
(206) 682-7453

There is ample parking around the market. Just don't try to drive down Pike itself! People use the street to walk, so driving through the market will be very difficult.

We recommend stopping in at Mee Sum Pastry for their Hom Bao and Beecher's Cheese for their famous Mac n' Cheese!

Check out the gorgeous flowers, try the fresh produce, and admire the waterfront!

Museum of Pop Culture

325 5th Ave N, Seattle, WA 98109, USA
(206) 770-2700

Right in Seattle City Center, the MoPop is a Seattle landmark! Connect to the monorail via the light rail's Westlake station and you will be right outside this awesome museum

Space Needle

400 Broad St, Seattle, WA 98109, USA
(206) 905-2100

Go up the Space Needle! Built in the 1960s for the Seattle World's Fair, this iconic Seattle spot is amazing for getting an incredible view of the city.

Chihuly Garden and Glass

305 Harrison St, Seattle, WA 98109, USA
(206) 753-4940

Seattle is a world-class destination for blown glass. Visit the Chihuly Glass Garden, where you can see installations from Dale Chihuly, a world-renowned glassblowing artist.

Visit Bainbridge Island

Just a short ferry ride away, Bainbridge Island is a beautiful day trip. There are lots of shops to explore, and some gorgeous views! Best of all, you don’t even need a car, since the town is walking distance from the ferry terminal.

The Museum of Flight

Seattle, WA 98108, USA
(206) 764-5700

Gas Works Park

2101 N Northlake Way, Seattle, WA 98103, USA
(206) 684-4075

This park is quintessentially Seattle! Gas Works Park was built on the site of an old industrial gasification plant, and much of the equipment is still there to admire. This is an amazing location to have a picnic, take in the sunset, and watch the kayaks and hot tub boats go by.

Culinary Favorites

Olivia and Justin particularly enjoy finding the culinary icons of each place they visit. Here is what they recommend for Seattle:

Teriyaki

- Seattle is known for it's Chicken Teriyaki, which can be found at just about any strip mall in the greater Seattle Area. Order the classic or the spicy!

Seattle Dog

- Each big city has it's classic hot dog, but ours is best! The Seattle Dog (a hot dog with cream cheese, caramelized onions, and optional jalapenos) can be found most often outside sports games, event venues, and bars

Dick's Burgers

- Dick's is a Seattle-based institution for burgers, fries, and shakes, and known for their low prices and quick service. There's no seating and no substitutions- just walk up to the window to order. Any Seattleite will tell you that sometimes, all you need is a bag of Dick's!

Ivar's

- Ivar's is a chain of seafood restaurants in the greater Seattle area. Each location has a different atmosphere, from walk-up to fine dining. As a coastal city, we are known for our seafood, so this is a great way to try some at whatever price-point is right for you!
