Where should we stay?
Please see our Travel page for a list of hotels we recommend. If you'd like to be close to the venue, we recommend staying in Redmond or Woodinville.
If you prefer to be closer to more things to do, we recommend staying in Seattle. North Seattle is where we live, and there is lots to do throughout the city. We have listed hotels near popular spots in the city for tourists.
What should we wear?
The dress code is Garden Party Formal. Think florals, cocktail or ankle length dresses, or a nice suit. And don't be afraid to go colorful!
Please note that the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside on a grassy lawn, so plan your footwear accordingly, especially if you are planning on wearing heels.
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive between 3:30 and 3:45 PM, to give yourself time to park and be seated before the ceremony.
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes! There is parking available for approximately 80 cars. The venue is easily accessible by Uber or other rideshares, so if you prefer to not rent a car while in town, that should be totally feasible. Bicycle parking will also be available.
Are children welcome?
Absolutely! Please note that there are farm animals at the venue, as well as a pond. We ask that you keep a close eye on your children so that they stay safe and have a good time!
Can I take public transportation to the venue?
Unfortunately, there is no public transit access to the venue. The best option for those travelling from Seattle would be to take the light rail to Redmond and then hailing a ride share from there. There are also bike share options available in Redmond. The venue is immediately adjacent to the Sammamish River bike trail.
Do I need to rent a car during my stay?
Probably not! If you are staying in Seattle you can take the light rail to and from the airport quite easily. Ride sharing apps are quite expensive in Seattle, so public transit is a good first choice when possible.
